Picked up Marble Malphite from a chest last week and wasn't expecting much from this 520 RP skin, but after around 40 games I'm actually shocked at how clean it feels. The white stone aesthetic makes everything pop way more than I thought it would, especially compared to base Malphite's muddy brown textures.
The Q feels noticeably smoother when you're poking in lane, probably because the white rock chunk stands out better against most backgrounds. Your W activation has this satisfying marble gleam that makes timing trades easier since you can instantly tell when your armor buff is up. But the real difference is the ult animation. I swear the knockup feels more responsive, and in a dragon fight yesterday, I landed a 4-man ult that I might've whiffed on base skin because the white trail makes it way easier to judge the exact hitbox. Compared to other Malphite skins like Glacial, this one just feels less clunky overall.
Is Marble Malphite worth it? For the price, absolutely. It's not pay-to-win or anything insane, but the visual clarity is genuinely helpful when you're trying to CS under tower or gauge your engage range. My experience with Marble Malphite has been way better than expected, especially since I usually run Shamrock for the meme value. The skin aged really well too, doesn't look outdated like some of the older 520s.
If you're a Malphite main or even just play him occasionally, this is probably the best budget option. And if you get it from a chest like I did, definitely don't reroll it. The clarity alone makes it worth keeping over most of his other cheap skins.
