Picked this up after watching Pekin Woof absolutely dominate with it on stream, and after 80 games I can finally give my honest thoughts on Lunar Wraith Sylas. The ghostly aesthetic isn't just for show, it actually makes the champion feel different in crucial moments.
The Q chains have this ethereal trail that's somehow easier to track in messy teamfights compared to base skin. But the real game changer is the E dash animation feels noticeably smoother when you're weaving through minions for those clutch escapes. His W kingslayer has this satisfying phantom effect that makes it super clear when you've secured the heal, which matters when you're tower diving at 30% HP and need to know exactly when to back off. During a baron fight yesterday, I managed to steal three ults in rapid succession and each hijack had this clean transition that didn't mess with my timing at all. Freljord Sylas always felt a bit clunky to me in comparison, especially when trying to animation cancel the passive autos.
Is Lunar Wraith Sylas worth it though? At 1350 RP it's not exactly budget friendly, but compared to other Sylas skins this one offers the best clarity without sacrificing style. The recall animation alone is probably the cleanest in his collection. It's purely cosmetic, no pay to win advantages here, but the cleaner animations genuinely help when you're trying to pop off in ranked.
For Sylas mains who play him regularly, this skin will make those mechanical outplays feel more consistent. And if you're on the fence about which skin to grab, Lunar Wraith edges out the competition for both aesthetics and gameplay feel.
