Lunar Wraith Caitlyn

Bought this skin after getting absolutely destroyed by an enemy Caitlyn who kept landing perfect traps during teamfights, and I'm convinced the visual clarity on Lunar Wraith actually makes a difference. After around 55 games with it, I can confidently say this skin changed how I play her compared to other Caitlyn skins I own.

The Q animation feels way smoother than base Caitlyn, especially when you're trying to poke through minion waves. Her trap placement has this subtle glow that makes it easier to track in messy fights, which probably saved me from inting into enemy engages more times than I'd like to admit. But what really stands out is the ult channel. The targeting reticle is cleaner and the whole animation feels less clunky when you need to cancel it quickly. I remember this one dragon fight where I managed to zone their ADC just by starting the channel because the visual was threatening enough to make them reposition poorly.

Compared to Pulsefire Caitlyn, Lunar Wraith wins on responsiveness alone. The auto attack animation is tighter, making CS feel more natural, and the E net has better visibility when you're kiting backwards. Sure, Pulsefire has flashier effects, but Lunar Wraith gives you that competitive edge without being distracting. At 1350 RP it's not exactly budget friendly, but for anyone who plays Caitlyn regularly, the cleaner animations alone make it worth considering.

Is Lunar Wraith Caitlyn worth it? If you're serious about climbing with her, absolutely. The skin isn't pay to win, but those small clarity improvements add up over hundreds of games. My experience with Lunar Wraith Caitlyn convinced me that sometimes the best skins aren't the most expensive ones.
