Picked up Lunar Guardian Warwick from a chest last month and honestly wasn't expecting much since I'm usually running Hyena or Grey Warwick. After about 50 games though, this skin's grown on me in ways I didn't see coming.
The Q feels way smoother than base skin, especially when you're chasing through river. But what really stands out is the ult animation being cleaner when you're trying to hit max range engages. Had this one dragon fight where their ADC was barely in range and I swear the visual clarity on the leap helped me land it perfectly. The W trail effect is probably the best part though, that golden glow makes tracking low health enemies through fog feel more responsive compared to other Warwick skins. And the E looks insane when you pop it in teamfights, that lunar shield effect actually makes it easier to time the fear.
Compared to PROJECT Warwick which I mained forever, this one's less flashy but more practical. PROJECT has cooler sound effects but Lunar Guardian just feels better in actual gameplay. The recall animation where he howls at the moon is pretty cringe but good, fits the whole theme perfectly. Is Lunar Guardian Warwick worth it if you're buying? At 1350 RP it's not cheap, but for Warwick mains who want something that feels smooth without being distracting, it's solid.
This isn't pay to win or anything, but the visual clarity definitely helps in messy teamfights. My experience with Lunar Guardian Warwick has been surprisingly positive for a skin I never planned on using. If you already own Hyena or Feral, maybe wait for a sale, but if you're looking for your first premium Warwick skin, this one's actually worth considering.
