Lunar Beast Viego

After 35 games with Lunar Beast Viego, I'm genuinely torn between this and Pentakill for my main skin choice. The Lunar Beast aesthetic hits different when you're possessing enemies during teamfights, especially with that golden glow that makes you feel like an actual raid boss.

The Q feels snappier compared to base skin, with cleaner animation frames that make last hitting way easier in lane. Your W mist form has this sick orange trail that's actually harder for enemies to track in river fights, which I've abused multiple times. But the real game changer is the ult. That golden slam animation is probably the smoothest cancel I've experienced on any Viego skin, letting you combo into possession faster than usual. During a baron fight yesterday, I ulted their fed Jinx and the transition was so clean I managed to pop off with her kit before anyone realized what happened. The possession VFX with the golden particles makes it super clear when you're switching bodies too.

Compared to other Viego skins like EDG or King, this one's purely cosmetic but worth the 1350 RP if you're into the Lunar Beast theme. The recall animation where he summons that beast spirit is insane, though I rarely get to finish it without getting interrupted. Sound effects are crisp without being obnoxious, and the golden chroma on abilities doesn't mess with clarity like I thought it would. My experience with Lunar Beast Viego has been positive overall, though Pentakill still edges it out slightly for tryhard ranked games. If you're a Viego main looking for something fresh that won't tilt you with weird animations, this skin delivers. Just maybe wait for a sale unless you're really into the whole lunar aesthetic.
