Lunar Beast Jarvan IV

Been spamming Lunar Beast Jarvan IV for about 50 games now after getting it from a chest, and honestly this skin hits different compared to other Jarvan IV skins. The E-Q combo feels way smoother than base skin, probably because the flag animation is cleaner and easier to track in teamfights. His ult actually feels more responsive too, like there's less delay between pressing R and the walls coming up, which matters when you're trying to trap that fed ADC.

Last night I was defending dragon pit against three enemies and the visual clarity on this skin saved my ass. The golden armor contrasts perfectly against river terrain, making it easier to position for those clutch E-Q escapes. Compare this to Dark Star Jarvan where everything blends into purple mess during teamfights. And the W shield is actually visible through all the spell effects, unlike Warring Kingdoms where I can't tell if my shield popped or not half the time.

Is Lunar Beast Jarvan IV worth it though? For 1350 RP it's not exactly pay-to-win but the cleaner animations do give you a slight edge. The recall animation where he summons that beast spirit is pretty insane, and his auto attacks feel less clunky than most of his other skins. My experience with Lunar Beast Jarvan IV has been mostly positive, though I'll admit Championship Jarvan still has the best sound effects.

If you're a Jarvan main looking for something that combines good visuals with actual gameplay benefits, this skin delivers. Not gonna lie, I was tilted when I first got it instead of a skin for my actual main, but now I'm considering becoming a Jarvan OTP just because this skin makes him feel so good to play.
