Lumberjack Sion

Bought Lumberjack Sion after getting absolutely stomped by one in ranked, and after 55 games with it, I can honestly say it's become my go-to pick over Mecha Zero. The skin completely changes how your Q feels during laning phase. That axe swing animation is so much smoother than base, making it easier to time those last second releases when the enemy thinks they're safe. The visual clarity on the charge-up is insane compared to other Sion skins, especially Warmonger where the dark effects blend into river fights.

My experience with Lumberjack Sion really shines during those messy dragon fights where everyone's spamming abilities. The ult has this distinct rumbling sound that cuts through all the chaos, and I've noticed enemies react faster to it, which sounds bad but actually helps when you're trying to zone them away from objectives. Had a game yesterday where I ulted from blue buff into dragon pit and the enemy team split perfectly because they could clearly see my trajectory. With base skin they probably would've clumped and eaten the full knockup. The W shield pop has this satisfying wood-cracking sound that's way more noticeable than Hextech's electric burst, making it easier to track cooldowns in teamfights.

Is Lumberjack Sion worth it? For 520 RP it's probably the best value compared to other Sion skins if you want something that feels different without breaking the bank. It's purely cosmetic, no pay-to-win advantages, but the cleaner animations genuinely make the champion feel less clunky. If you're a Sion main looking for a fresh feel without spending 1350 on Mecha Zero, this one's definitely worth grabbing.
