Picked up Little Knight Amumu from a chest last week and wasn't expecting much from this 750 RP skin, but after around 40 games I'm actually impressed. The medieval armor theme transforms our sad mummy into something way more intimidating than his base model, and the bronze-gold color scheme really pops in teamfights.
The Q bandage toss feels more responsive with the chain animation replacing the usual bandages, making it easier to track whether you're gonna land that crucial pick. His W toggle has this subtle metallic shimmer that's easier to see in messy fights compared to base Amumu's tears, which helps me remember to turn it off when clearing camps to save mana. And the ult is where this skin really shines. The golden explosion with armor pieces flying everywhere is insane compared to other Amumu skins, especially Surprise Party where the confetti can actually make it harder to see who got caught. During a dragon fight yesterday, the clearer hitbox indicator on my ult let me perfectly catch three enemies who probably thought they were safe at the edge.
Is Little Knight Amumu worth it compared to other Amumu skins? For the price, absolutely. It doesn't have the meme factor of Surprise Party or the edginess of Infernal, but the cleaner animations make it feel less clunky than most of his older skins. The recall animation where he builds a sandcastle is adorable too. It's purely cosmetic with no real advantages, but the visual clarity improvements make it my go-to when I need to pop off in ranked. If you main Amumu or just want a solid skin that won't tilt you with weird animations, this one's worth grabbing on sale.
