Leprechaun Veigar

Contrary to popular belief, Veigar won't grant three wishes, isn't a fairy, and doesn't hide gold coins at the end of a rainbow. He will, however, kill you. Which is none of the things you want out of a magic leprechaun.

Been maining Veigar since season 7 and after 500k mastery points, I finally grabbed Leprechaun Veigar when it popped up in My Shop last month. My experience with Leprechaun Veigar has been surprisingly positive considering it's one of his older releases that doesn't get much attention compared to flashier options like Final Boss or Astronaut.

The Q feels snappier somehow, probably just the green particle effect playing tricks on my brain, but I swear I'm landing more CS with it. His W actually feels cleaner with the rainbow circle that drops, and the visibility is better than base skin where sometimes the purple gets lost in river fights. But the real difference is his E cage. The golden bars stand out way more than I expected, especially during those messy dragon fights where everything's going off at once. Just yesterday I caught their fed Katarina trying to flank us at drake because she actually saw my cage boundaries clearly and hesitated for half a second too long before trying to flash over it.

Compared to other Veigar skins like Omega Squad which I used religiously before this, Leprechaun feels less clunky overall. The recall animation with the pot of gold is whatever, but in lane the auto attacks feel more responsive which matters when you're trying to poke between CS. It's definitely not pay to win or anything insane, but for 520 RP it's actually worth considering if you play him regularly.

Is Leprechaun Veigar worth it? For Veigar mains who want something different without breaking bank, absolutely. The clarity improvements alone make it better than half his expensive skins, and you won't tilt yourself looking at outdated particles like with some other legacy options.
