Lancer Stratus Wukong

Got Lancer Stratus Wukong from a chest last month and honestly wasn't expecting much since I mainly rock Radiant. After about 35 games though, this skin completely changed how I approach teamfights with the monkey king.

The Q animation feels way more responsive than base Wukong, especially when you're trying to weave autos between abilities. Your clone on W actually looks cleaner too, which sounds minor but I've baited so many flashes because enemies can't tell as quickly which one's real. The ult is where this skin really shines though. That spinning staff effect is probably the smoothest animation cancel I've felt on any Wukong skin. During a baron fight yesterday, I managed to knock up their entire backline because the ult hitbox visibility is crystal clear compared to other Wukong skins. On Radiant or Jade Dragon, I'd sometimes whiff because the visual doesn't match the actual range as well.

Is Lancer Stratus Wukong worth it compared to his other options? For 1350 RP, you're getting legitimate gameplay advantages. The E dash has this subtle trail that makes it easier to track in messy fights, and the passive armor shred stacks show up way better on enemies. It's not quite pay to win, but if you're serious about climbing with Wukong, this skin gives you that tiny edge in clarity that matters when you're trying to pop off. My experience with Lancer Stratus Wukong convinced me it's his best skin for ranked, even beating out my previous favorite Radiant. If you main him or plan to spam games, grab it when you can. The Lancer line just hits different on this champ.
