La Ilusión Renata Glasc

Got this skin from a chest last week and honestly wasn't expecting much since I mainly play Admiral Glasc. After about 35 games though, La Ilusión Renata Glasc completely changed my mind about what a good skin feels like on this champ.

The Q feels way smoother to land compared to base skin, and I swear the projectile is clearer to track in teamfights. Her W shield has this satisfying pop that makes it easier to time your saves, especially when your ADC decides to int under tower. But the real difference is her ult animation. Playing a dragon fight yesterday, I threw my R from fog and caught three enemies who probably didn't even see it coming because the initial cast is subtle before it explodes into that insane colorful wave. On Admiral, everyone sees that massive anchor coming from a mile away. The E handshake also has cleaner animation cancels when you're trying to weave autos in lane trades.

Is La Ilusión Renata Glasc worth it compared to other Renata Glasc skins? For 1350 RP, you're getting more than just visuals. The recall is gorgeous with all the papel picado floating around, and those chromas are actually cracked if you grab them on sale. It's not quite pay to win, but the visual clarity on abilities definitely gives you an edge. Admiral Glasc still has the best splash art, but La Ilusión takes the crown for in game feel. If you're a Renata main looking to climb, this skin makes those clutch W saves and sneaky ults just a bit more consistent. Worth picking up next time it's in your shop.
