Got La Ilusión Draven from a mystery chest last month and honestly wasn't expecting much since I usually rock Gladiator or Primetime. After about 50 games though, this skin completely changed my mind about what makes a good Draven skin.
The Q axes feel insanely smooth compared to other Draven skins, especially when you're juggling three during a heated dragon fight. Last night I was kiting their fed Irelia around pit and the visual clarity on the spinning axes made it so easy to track my catches while dodging her stuns. The W blood rush has this subtle red trail that doesn't clutter your screen like Soul Reaver does, and the E stand aside animation feels more responsive when you need those clutch interrupts. But what really sold me was during a tower dive where I could perfectly track both axes bouncing off their support while weaving autos, something that gets messy on base skin.
This is probably the cleanest animation set Draven has gotten in years. Compared to Ruined which I mained before, La Ilusión just flows better between ability combos. The ult doesn't have that weird delay feeling either, it pops off instantly when you need to execute that low HP mid laner recalling under tower. Worth the 1350 RP if you're serious about climbing with Draven since the visual clarity actually helps in teamfights.
Is La Ilusión Draven worth it? If you're planning to OTP or already main him, absolutely grab it. The skin isn't pay to win but the smoother animations definitely help you int less when learning those advanced axe mechanics. My experience with La Ilusión Draven convinced me to refund Beast Hunter for essence because this one just hits different once you get used to it.
