Bought Kennen M.D. after my support kept flaming me for playing base skin Kennen in ranked, and honestly, 975 RP later I'm not mad about it. After around 55 games with this skin, I've noticed the Q shurikens feel way cleaner to land compared to base, probably because the medical needle animation reads better in teamfights. The W passive mark shows up as this little heartbeat monitor effect that's actually easier to track when you're CSing under pressure.

The ult is where this skin really shines though. Instead of the usual lightning storm, you get these defibrillator sparks that feel more responsive when you're diving backline. Last night I was defending dragon pit against a fed Jinx and her team, and the visual clarity on my ult radius helped me position perfectly for a three-man stun. My E dash leaves this blue medical trail that's subtle but makes animation canceling feel smoother somehow. And the recall with him checking charts while electricity sparks around the stethoscope is pretty insane attention to detail.

Compared to other Kennen skins like Blood Moon, M.D. feels less cluttered visually. Blood Moon has cooler effects but sometimes I'd lose track of my W stacks in messy fights. Is Kennen M.D. worth it? For anyone who plays him regularly, absolutely. It's not pay-to-win but the cleaner animations definitely help with skill expression. Super Kennen might still be the tryhard choice for visibility, but M.D. hits that sweet spot between looking good and playing smooth. If you're on the fence about should you buy Kennen M.D., wait for Your Shop or just grab it if you main him. The skin aged surprisingly well for something from the Rift Hospital set.
