Karate Kennen

Picked this up from a chest last month and honestly wasn't expecting much from a 520 RP skin. After about 40 games though, Karate Kennen has become my go-to over Blood Moon, and that's saying something considering I own six of his skins.

The Q shuriken feels way cleaner to throw compared to base Kennen. Something about the animation makes last-hitting easier, probably because the projectile looks sharper against minion waves. His W passive marks are more visible too, which helps when you're trying to proc that third stack for a stun during chaotic teamfights. And the ult? The lightning effects are toned down but somehow more readable. I remember this one dragon fight where their Yasuo tried to windwall my engage, but the visual clarity let me position perfectly around it to get the five-man stun. Would've been harder to track with Super Kennen's flashier effects.

Is Karate Kennen worth it compared to other Kennen skins? For the price, absolutely. It's not pay-to-win but the smoother cancel on his E makes escaping ganks feel more responsive. The skin has aged surprisingly well for something this old. No fancy recall animation or anything, just solid fundamentals that make playing him feel crisp. My experience with Karate Kennen convinced me that sometimes less is more when you're trying to pop off in ranked.

If you're a Kennen main looking for consistency over flash, grab this one. The visual clarity alone makes it worth, especially if you can snag it on sale. Just don't expect anything groundbreaking, it's purely about that clean gameplay feel.
