Been spamming this skin for about 55 games now after grabbing it from a chest, and honestly it's probably the best surprise I've gotten from hextech crafting in years. Most people sleep on Jurassic Cho'Gath compared to other Cho'Gath skins like Dark Star or Battlecast, but after maining him this season, I'm convinced it's actually his smoothest skin for climbing.
The Q rupture feels way more responsive than base skin, with the ground cracking animation giving you a cleaner visual on where it'll pop. Your W silence cone has this satisfying roar that makes the hitbox feel more accurate somehow, and the ult chomp animation is faster than Gentleman Cho's fancy fork nonsense. I was fighting for dragon yesterday against a fed Viego and managed to outsmite him purely because the feast animation is so clean I could time it perfectly between his autos. The skin just makes everything feel less clunky, especially when you're stacking up to 10+ feast stacks and your model gets huge.
Comparing it to my old favorite Loch Ness, Jurassic actually gives you better visibility in teamfights. The green coloring doesn't blend into river fights like the dark purple does, and enemies seem to underestimate you more because it looks goofy until you're suddenly eating their ADC. It's purely cosmetic but feels like it gives a slight edge when you need those clutch feast timings.
Is Jurassic Cho'Gath worth it? If you play him regularly, absolutely grab it when it shows up in your shop. The 975 RP price point makes it insane value for how smooth it makes his kit feel. My experience with Jurassic Cho'Gath convinced me to OTP him this split.
