Junkyard Trundle

Self-proclaimed king of the Wasteland's endless, irradiated junk heaps, Trundle saunters about his vast 'kingdom' flanked by a small army of sycophantic thugs. Any travelers discovered in his domain are subjected to painfully theatrical displays of grandeur—then beatings, then death.

Picked this up from a mystery chest last month and honestly wasn't expecting much since I main Traditional Trundle. After about 40 games though, this skin completely changed my mind about what a 750 RP skin can deliver.

The Q bite animation feels way cleaner than base skin, especially when you're trying to weave autos during extended trades. His W feels more visible with that rusty metal zone compared to other Trundle skins where I sometimes lose track of where my domain ends. But the real winner is his E pillar which looks like a massive junk pile that's actually easier to judge the knockup radius on. Just yesterday I was contesting dragon and landed a perfect pillar between their ADC and support because the hitbox clarity is insane on this skin. The ult animation is whatever, just some metal bits flying around, but at least enemies know they're getting stat checked.

Compared to Dragonslayer which I used to run exclusively, Junkyard actually gives better visual feedback during teamfights. The auto attack animation feels less clunky too, probably because of how the club swings. And that recall where he's building his throne from trash? Pure comedy that never gets old when you're fed and BM'ing after a successful gank. Is Junkyard Trundle worth it? For the price point it's absolutely worth, especially if you play him regularly.

This isn't pay to win or anything but the cleaner animations definitely help with kiting. My experience with Junkyard Trundle convinced me that sometimes the older, cheaper skins can surprise you. If you're a Trundle main looking for something functional over flashy, this beats most of his expensive options.
