✨ Ranked Ready High MMR Accounts Restocked
Been maining Thresh since season 4 and after 500k mastery points across multiple accounts, I finally caved and grabbed Janitor Thresh during the last sale. Most people sleep on this skin but honestly it's become my go-to pick over Dark Star and Spirit Blossom, and I think more support mains need to know why this budget option absolutely slaps.
The Q windup feels way smoother than base Thresh, probably because the mop swinging animation is less cluttered than those chunky chains. Your hook hitbox actually matches what enemies see better too, which sounds minor but I've landed so many max range hooks in river fights that would've looked sus on other skins. The flay animation is crisp as hell with that mop sweep, and I swear the cancel into hook combo flows better. During a baron dance yesterday, I caught their fed Kai'Sa with a flash flay into hook that felt instant, something about the visual clarity just makes those split second plays easier to execute.
Compared to other Thresh skins like Championship or Blood Moon, Janitor lacks the flashy particles but that's actually why it's lowkey pay-to-win. Enemies underestimate you when you're literally mopping the rift, then you're 3-0 in lane wondering why they kept walking into obvious hooks. After around 80 games with it, the only real downside is the lantern looks kinda scuffed, but your ADC won't click it anyway so who cares.
Is Janitor Thresh worth it? For support mains who want clean animations without the 1350 RP price, this skin's actually insane value. My experience with Janitor Thresh convinced me that sometimes the simple skins just hit different when you're trying to climb.
