Inkshadow Volibear

Been maining Volibear since season 9 and finally grabbed Inkshadow during the last event after seeing it pop off in my ranked games. With around 500k mastery points across all accounts, I can confidently say this skin changes how the champion feels compared to other Volibear skins.

The Q animation feels way smoother than base or even Thousand Pierced Bear. There's something about the ink effects that makes timing your stun easier, probably because the visual cues are clearer when you're about to connect. His E lightning strike has this satisfying ink splash that's actually easier to see in river fights, which matters when you're trying to zone the enemy jungler off dragon. But what really sold me was the ult. The impact feels heavier somehow, and I swear the animation cancel into Q combo flows better. Had a game yesterday where I tower dove their fed Jinx at level 6, and the ult landing felt so clean I could instantly buffer my Q without that weird delay Thunder Lord Volibear sometimes has.

Is Inkshadow Volibear worth it? For 1350 RP, it's definitely not just cosmetic. The cleaner animations genuinely help in clutch moments, especially when you're chain ganking and need those split second reactions. My experience with Inkshadow Volibear has been nothing but positive after 70+ games. The skin isn't quite pay-to-win but it's close enough that I'd recommend it over his other options.
