Infernal Karthus

Picked this up after seeing a streamer absolutely dominate with it and honestly, my experience with Infernal Karthus has been pretty eye-opening after around 50 games. The skin completely changes how the champion feels, especially compared to something like Pentakill which I mained for years. Those flame effects aren't just cosmetic either, they actually make landing Q's feel more responsive somehow.

The Q animation has this cleaner explosion that makes last-hitting way easier, and I'm not even kidding when I say my CS improved by probably 10-15 per game just from the visual clarity. But where this skin really shines is the ultimate. When you're channeling that ult during a dragon fight and the whole screen turns into this hellfire spectacle, enemies actually panic more. Had a game yesterday where their ADC flashed preemptively just from the visual alone even though they had enough HP to survive. The W wall looks insane too, like an actual firewall that makes people respect the slow more than the base purple mist ever did.

Is Infernal Karthus worth it compared to other Karthus skins? For 1350 RP it's definitely on the pricier side, but the animations feel so much smoother than Grim Reaper or even Lightsbane. This isn't pay-to-win exactly, but the visual feedback makes you play better. The only downside is sometimes in messy teamfights the orange effects blend with other Infernal skins if your team has them.

Would I recommend this for Karthus mains? Absolutely. If you're gonna int your way to victory pressing R, might as well look good doing it. The skin makes even feeding look cinematic.
