Infernal Akali

Bought this skin after a brutal losing streak where I needed something to refresh my mental, and honestly Infernal Akali became my lucky charm. After around 120 games with it, I can confidently say this is probably the smoothest Akali skin for actually playing the champion, not just looking cool.

The E feels way more responsive compared to other Akali skins, especially KDA which I mained before. Something about the fire trail makes the shuriken flip cleaner to execute and you can actually tell when you're gonna hit the second cast. Her passive auto feels faster too, though that might be placebo from the fire effects making everything look snappier. But the real winner is her ult, the flame dash is so much easier to track in teamfights. Had a dragon fight yesterday where I could actually see my R2 trajectory through all the spell effects because the fire trail cuts through visual clutter better than her base ninja smoke.

Is Infernal Akali worth it compared to something like True Damage? If you're trying to climb and pop off consistently, absolutely. This isn't just cosmetic, the visual clarity actually helps you play better. True Damage looks insane but the neon effects can get lost in messy fights. Infernal keeps everything readable while still looking sick when you're fed and diving their backline. The recall animation is whatever, but who cares when the actual gameplay feels this good.

For any Akali mains still on the fence about should you buy Infernal Akali, grab it next time it's in your shop. It's become my tryhard skin when I need that extra 1% advantage in ranked. Pure gameplay diff over style, and that's worth way more than any flashy legendary.
