Immortal Journey Zed

Been spamming this skin for about 70 games now after seeing Faker use it on stream, and honestly it's become my go-to over Galaxy Slayer. The Immortal Journey aesthetic hits different when you're actually playing it versus watching someone else pop off with it.

The Q feels way smoother than base skin, especially when you're trying to poke through minions during laning phase. But what really sold me was the W shadow placement having cleaner animation frames compared to other Zed skins. Had this insane dragon fight yesterday where I could actually track my shadows better in the chaos because the golden effects don't blend into river terrain like Championship Zed does. The ult is probably the biggest upgrade though. That satisfying slash sound when Death Mark pops makes it so much easier to know if you've secured the kill without staring at health bars.

My experience with Immortal Journey Zed compared to other skins in his collection puts it firmly in the worth category. It's not just cosmetic either. The E animation cancel feels more responsive than base, which matters when you're trying to oneshot the fed ADC before they flash away. And the recall where he meditates with the floating swords? Pure style points that tilt enemies when you BM after solokilling their mid.

Is Immortal Journey Zed worth it for mains? Absolutely. It's 1350 RP well spent if you're serious about climbing with him. The visual clarity alone makes those clutch teamfights less of a coinflip. Sure, Galaxy Slayer has more flashy effects, but this skin strikes the perfect balance between looking sick and actually helping your gameplay.
