iG Rakan

Picked up iG Rakan from a chest last week and honestly wasn't expecting much since I'm usually rocking Cosmic Dusk. After around 35 games though, this skin's grown on me in ways I didn't see coming.

The W feels noticeably smoother than base Rakan, especially when you're trying to chain it with flash for those clutch saves. Your Q actually has better visibility in teamfights which I thought was just placebo at first, but it's real. And the ult? The white and black effects make it easier to track who you've charmed in messy dragon fights. Just yesterday I was able to perfectly thread my R through three people at baron pit because the visual clarity is insane compared to something like Star Guardian where everything's just sparkles. The recall animation's probably the cleanest of all his skins too.

Comparing iG Rakan to other Rakan skins, it sits in this weird spot where it's not as flashy as Cosmic Dusk but way more functional than SSG. The animations feel more responsive, especially when you're trying to cancel your W into E quickly for those tower dive escapes. It's purely cosmetic advantage but the cleaner hitbox indicators on your abilities definitely help in ranked. Worth the 1350 RP? Maybe if you're a Rakan main who wants something different from the usual colorful skins.

Is iG Rakan worth it for casual players? Probably not unless you're into the esports aesthetic. But if you main support and play Rakan regularly, this skin offers enough visual clarity improvements to justify the purchase. My experience with iG Rakan convinced me it's actually one of his most competitive skins, even if it doesn't look as cool as his legendary options.
