Hillbilly Gragas

Getting mystery gifted Hillbilly Gragas was honestly the best accident that's happened to my account in months. After about 55 games with this skin, I can confidently say it's become my go-to over Arctic Ops, which I'd been using since forever. The whole vibe just hits different when you're running around as a moonshine-brewing redneck instead of trying to look serious.

The Q barrel toss feels way smoother compared to other Gragas skins, especially base. There's something about the animation that makes it easier to judge the distance, and the barrel itself stands out better in teamfights. Body Slam actually looks cleaner too, with less visual clutter when you're trying to flash combo someone under tower. But the ult is where this skin really shines. That explosive finish has better visibility than most of his other skins, making it easier to gauge exactly where enemies will land. I remember this one dragon fight where the enemy jungler tried to smite steal, and I could perfectly time my ult to knock him over the wall because the animation was so clear.

Is Hillbilly Gragas worth it? Absolutely, especially if you can snag it when it's available. Compared to other Gragas skins like Vandal or Scuba, this one's purely cosmetic but somehow makes the champion feel more responsive. The recall animation alone is worth watching every time. Sure, it's an older skin without fancy particles, but sometimes that simplicity is exactly what you need to pop off without distractions. My experience with Hillbilly Gragas has been nothing but positive, and I'd probably recommend it over most of his newer releases for anyone who wants to main the fat man.
