High Noon Varus

Ain't nothin' for a dead angel to do but resign himself to grief. Varus was content to allow Mordekaiser to take him past the infernal gates themselves… Until a ragtag gang of thieves interrupted his mourning. Varus now picks up his bow once more, riding as a Harbinger. It's high time he got revenge for the massacre of Heaven.

Getting back into League after a two year break and holy hell, when did Varus get such a sick western makeover? My experience with High Noon Varus has been nothing short of eye opening after spamming around 50 games this past month. The skin completely transforms the champion from his usual void archer vibe into this badass demon hunter that feels way more satisfying to play.

The Q charge up has this insane red glow that makes it easier to track in teamfights, and I swear the animation feels smoother when you're weaving autos between abilities. His W passive procs have this burning effect that's actually clearer than base skin, which helped me secure so many kills I would've missed before. But the real game changer is his ult. That demonic chain is so much easier to see compared to other Varus skins like Dark Star where everything blends into purple chaos. Had a dragon fight yesterday where I landed a three man ult purely because I could track the spread better through all the spell effects going off.

Compared to other Varus skins I've tried since returning, this one's probably the best mix of clarity and style. Project Varus might have cooler sound effects but High Noon just plays cleaner. The auto attacks have less clunky windups and the E animation doesn't obscure your vision as much. Worth the 1350 RP? If you're a Varus main or even play him occasionally, absolutely. It's not pay to win but the visual clarity alone makes landing skillshots more consistent. Should you buy High Noon Varus over something like Cosmic Hunter? Unless you really prefer the space theme, High Noon takes it every time.
