Getting High Noon Thresh from a chest completely changed my perspective on this skin after 80 games of actually using it. Initially disappointed it wasn't Dark Star or Spirit Blossom, but this cowboy theme grew on me way more than expected, especially during those intense late game fights where clarity actually matters.
The Q windup feels noticeably smoother than base Thresh, and that whip crack sound when you land Death Sentence is so satisfying it's almost pay-to-win territory. During a baron fight yesterday, I could track my lantern placement way easier through all the spell effects because that glowing orange stands out perfectly against river terrain. His E animation has this subtle dust cloud effect that makes the flay direction clearer for both you and your ADC, which probably saved my Jinx from inting at least three times. Compared to my buddy's Championship Thresh, High Noon just feels more responsive when animation canceling, though Championship still has the better recall.
But the real game changer is the ult visibility. Those burning fence posts are impossible to miss in teamfights, and enemies seem to respect The Box way more than with other skins. Maybe it's psychological, but I swear people flash out more often. The skin's worth the 1350 RP if you're a support main who plays Thresh regularly, though it's not quite as insane as Dark Star for pure intimidation factor.
After extensive use, High Noon Thresh sits comfortably as my second favorite skin behind Spirit Blossom. The western aesthetic won't be for everyone, but if you want a skin that combines solid clarity improvements with unique sound design that doesn't get old after 100 games, this one's definitely worth considering during the next Your Shop rotation.
