High Noon Talon

“Fate is catchin' up to you, old friend,” Talon says, leaning back in his chair, predator's eyes gleaming under the shadows of his hat. He still moves like a demon, even warped and corrupted by angel blood as he is. His smile, rueful and knowing, has too many teeth: “The end is comin' for us all.”

After losing my promos three times straight, I figured buying High Noon Talon might change my luck. Spoiler alert, it didn't help my mental but damn if I don't look good inting now. Been spamming this skin for about 50 games and honestly, it's become my go-to over Enduring Sword which used to be my favorite.

The Q feels way smoother to cancel compared to base skin, especially when you're weaving autos during trades. His W projectiles are actually easier to track with that orange glow, which sounds bad but I've been hitting way more return blades because I can better judge the spread. And the ult stealth has this dusty effect that somehow makes me feel faster even though it's purely cosmetic. During a baron fight yesterday, I swear the cleaner animation on his passive proc let me delete their ADC faster than usual. The whole combo just flows better, particularly when you're trying to oneshot someone under tower and need frame perfect execution.

Compared to other Talon skins like Blood Moon, High Noon actually gives you better visibility in river fights. The darker particles on Blood Moon can get lost in the chaos but these orange effects pop off the screen. Is High Noon Talon worth it though? For 1350 RP it's probably one of his better skins if you care about clean animations over flashy effects. Not gonna lie, it won't make you climb but at least you'll feel less tilted missing your combos.

If you're a Talon main deciding between this and SSG, grab High Noon. The western theme grows on you and those recall animations are actually insane. Just don't expect it to fix your mechanics.
