Got High Noon Tahm Kench from a chest last week and honestly wasn't expecting much since I mainly play Coin Emperor when I pick the catfish. After about 35 games though, this skin completely changed my mind about what a good Tahm skin should feel like.
The Q tongue lash has this whip crack sound that makes it so satisfying to land, and the animation feels faster even though I know it's probably just psychological. Your W devour gets this dusty smoke effect when you gulp down enemies that actually helps me time when they're about to pop out better than base skin. During a baron fight yesterday, I managed to save my ADC with a perfect W because the clearer animation let me see exactly when my cooldown was coming back up. The ult is where this skin really shines though, with that train whistle sound giving your team way better audio cues compared to Coin Emperor's subtle portal noise.
Speaking of Coin Emperor, that skin's still solid but High Noon just feels more responsive overall. The auto attack animations are smoother, making it easier to CS in lane without accidentally cancelling. It's not pay-to-win or anything, but the visual clarity definitely helps in teamfights when everything gets chaotic. At 1350 RP it's a bit steep compared to older skins, but the quality difference shows.
Is High Noon Tahm Kench worth it? If you're a Tahm main who plays him regularly, absolutely. The improved clarity alone makes it worth considering, and compared to other Tahm Kench skins, this one strikes the best balance between looking good and feeling smooth to play. Maybe wait for a sale if you're on the fence, but don't sleep on this one.
