Got High Noon Sion from a chest last week and honestly wasn't expecting much since I usually run Mecha Zero. After about 35 games though, this skin completely changed how I play the champion.
The Q charge feels way smoother than base skin, especially when you're trying to get that quick knockup during a dragon fight. Last night we were contesting soul and I managed to land a perfect Q on their fed Jinx because the wind-up animation is just cleaner. Your W actually looks intimidating now with that ghostly effect, making enemies respect the slow more in lane. And the ult? Insane difference. The train sound effect gives you better audio cues for timing, plus enemies seem to panic more when they hear that whistle coming. Compared to other Sion skins like Worldbreaker, this one just feels more responsive overall.
Is High Noon Sion worth it? For 1350 RP it's probably the best value in his skin lineup. The hitbox visibility on Q is noticeably better than base, which actually matters when you're trying to CS under tower or set up ganks. It's not quite pay-to-win but there's definitely a slight clarity advantage, especially in teamfights where everything gets chaotic. My experience with High Noon Sion convinced me to refund Lumberjack since this one just offers more practical benefits.
If you're a Sion main or even play him occasionally, grab this when it goes on sale. The technical improvements alone make it worth, but the theme and effects are what seal the deal. Been getting way less tilted in lane because the animations just feel right.
