Heavenscale Janna

Finally got Heavenscale Janna from a chest after about 80 games on Sacred Sword, and honestly the difference caught me off guard. The skin transforms her entire feel from ethereal support goddess to this grounded, mystical sage that actually makes positioning easier to track during teamfights.

The Q tornado feels heavier somehow, like it's actually carrying weight when you charge it up. But the real game changer is her W passive movement speed visual, those golden wisps trailing behind you make it way clearer when you're getting the bonus versus when an enemy's too close. During a baron dance last night, I could instantly tell when their Kayn was lurking nearby because the visual cut off, saved my ADC from getting popped. Her E shield has this golden dragon scale effect that's probably the cleanest animation cancel I've seen on any Janna skin. You can weave autos between shields without that awkward pause Forecast Janna has.

Sacred Sword still beats it for pure visibility in messy 5v5s since the abilities are brighter, but Heavenscale wins for laning phase clarity. The ult channel looks insane with those swirling dragons, though sometimes allies don't realize they're getting healed because it's less obvious than her base green circle. Worth the 1350 RP if you're playing her regularly, purely cosmetic advantage but the smoother animations genuinely help with reaction timing.

Is Heavenscale Janna worth it compared to other Janna skins? If you already own Sacred Sword or Bewitching, maybe wait for a sale. But if you're looking for your first premium Janna skin, this one's become my go-to for ranked. The visual clarity alone makes those clutch saves feel more consistent.
