Heartbreaker Vi

Got Heartbreaker Vi from a chest last week and honestly wasn't expecting much since I usually rock PROJECT or Warring Kingdoms. After about 35 games though, this skin's grown on me way more than I thought it would. The pink aesthetic seemed cringe at first but it actually pops off in game, especially when you're fed and diving their backline.

The Q feels smoother than base Vi for sure, with a cleaner windup animation that makes it easier to predict when you'll actually launch forward. Her E auto attacks have this satisfying heart explosion effect that somehow makes last hitting feel better, though that's probably just placebo. But the ult is where this skin really shines. The heart trail is way more visible than other Vi skins, which actually helps your team follow up when you're diving that fed ADC under tower. Had a dragon fight yesterday where I ulted their Jinx and my Yasuo instantly knew where to dash because the pink trail was so obvious compared to PROJECT's darker effects.

Compared to other Vi skins like Officer or Demon, Heartbreaker sits in this weird middle ground. It's not as clean as PROJECT but definitely more responsive than her older skins. The recall animation where she punches the ground and hearts explode everywhere is worth it alone. Is Heartbreaker Vi worth it if you're buying with RP? Maybe not at 1350 when PROJECT exists, but if you get it from a chest like I did, it's absolutely worth using. This is purely cosmetic though, no pay to win advantages despite the clearer ult trail. Vi mains who want something different from the usual tech skins should definitely give this one a shot.
