Guardian of the Sands Janna

Guardian of the Sands Janna caught me completely off guard when I got it from a hextech chest last month. After around 50 games with it, I'm honestly shocked how much better it feels compared to other Janna skins, especially considering I never would've bought it myself.

The Q tornado actually feels cleaner to aim with this skin. Something about the sandy particles makes it easier to judge the distance, and I've been landing way more double knockups during dragon fights. Her W feels snappier too, probably because the sand effect makes the slow more obvious to track. But the real game changer is her ult. During a tower dive yesterday, I could instantly tell where my heal zone ended because of those golden sand barriers. With Sacred Sword or even Forecast, I sometimes misjudge the edge and teammates die just outside the heal range. The visual clarity on Guardian is insane for those clutch saves.

Sacred Sword Janna was my go to before this, but Guardian just hits different. The shield animation is less clunky when you're trying to spam E on your fed ADC, and the whole desert aesthetic doesn't blend into Summoner's Rift like some of her greener skins do. Is Guardian of the Sands Janna worth it at 1350 RP though? For support mains who play her regularly, absolutely. It's not pay to win, but those cleaner animations definitely help you pop off more consistently.

My experience with Guardian of the Sands Janna convinced me that sometimes the skins you don't choose end up being the ones you need. If you're on the fence about buying it, wait for a sale, but don't sleep on this one.
