Grungy Nunu & Willump

Got this skin from a chest last week and honestly wasn't expecting much since Grungy looks pretty basic in the splash art. After about 40 games though, I'm actually impressed with how clean it feels compared to other Nunu & Willump skins, especially the older ones.

The Q bite animation feels way more responsive than base skin, and the snowball roll has this satisfying crunch sound that makes it easier to gauge distance. What really caught me off guard was the ult channel, the swirling trash tornado effect is actually clearer than Space Groove's flashy particles. During a baron fight yesterday, I could perfectly track enemy positions through my ult because the visibility wasn't cluttered with unnecessary effects. The E snowball toss has a smoother cancel too, which helped me secure a few kills when animation canceling with flash.

Compared to Papercraft Nunu which I mained before, Grungy feels less clunky overall. The model is smaller which some might hate, but I think it makes dodging skillshots easier. And the recall where Willump eats garbage then burps is probably the funniest in his whole collection. Is Grungy Nunu & Willump worth it if you're buying? For 750 RP it's decent value, nothing groundbreaking but the cleaner animations make it more than just cosmetic.

My experience with Grungy Nunu & Willump surprised me since I usually prefer the flashier skins. But if you're a Nunu main who wants something that won't tilt you with weird hitboxes or delayed animations, this one's actually solid. Not quite pay to win, but the improved clarity during teamfights makes it worth considering over some of his more expensive options.
