Gravelord Azir was my reward after hitting Diamond for the first time, and after 120 games with it, I can honestly say it transformed how I play the emperor. The skin completely changes the champion's feel without sacrificing clarity, which is exactly what you want from a 1350 RP purchase.

The Q feels noticeably smoother compared to base Azir, with the sand soldiers having this ghostly trail that makes positioning them in teamfights way easier. Your W spawns feel more responsive too, probably because the animation has less visual clutter than something like Warring Kingdoms. But the real game changer is the ult. That wall of spectral soldiers is impossible to miss, and I've noticed enemies respect it more than the golden wall from his classic skin. During a baron fight yesterday, I caught their fed Kai'Sa trying to reposition, and the clearer hitbox on the Gravelord ult made the difference between a clean insec and her flashing out.

Is Gravelord Azir worth it compared to other Azir skins? Absolutely. While SKT T1 has the prestige factor and Elderwood looks insane, Gravelord strikes the perfect balance between looking sick and actually improving your gameplay. The darker color palette makes it easier to CS in river fights where everything gets chaotic, and the recall animation where he summons that massive sand warrior never gets old. It's purely cosmetic advantage wise, but those small visual improvements add up when you're trying to pop off in ranked.

For anyone maining Azir or looking to pick him up seriously, grab this skin when it goes on sale. The visual clarity alone makes it worth, especially if you're tired of the base animations feeling clunky after hundreds of games.
