Gragas, Esq.

After owning every Gragas skin since season 4, I can confidently say Gragas, Esq. hits different when you're trying to climb. The sophisticated gentleman vibe isn't just cosmetic either, this skin genuinely feels smoother in teamfights compared to base Gragas or even Oktoberfest. Been running it for around 120 games now and the clarity improvements are insane.

The Q barrel roll animation feels cleaner to track in messy dragon fights, especially when everyone's stacking abilities. But what really sold me was the E body slam having this subtle pre-dash tell that makes animation cancels more responsive. I remember this one baron fight where I needed to flash E their fed Jinx, and the wind-up felt instant compared to Vandal Gragas which always felt clunky to me. His ult explosion has better visibility too, with that golden champagne burst making it easier to judge knockback direction when you're trying to insep someone into your team.

Is Gragas, Esq. worth it though? At 975 RP it's not breaking the bank, and compared to other Gragas skins you're getting solid value. Santa Gragas might have the meme factor but Esq. actually gives you slight advantages in clarity. It's not exactly pay-to-win but those cleaner animations probably save you from inting once or twice per game. My experience with Gragas, Esq. convinced me to refund Arctic Ops since I never touch it anymore.

For Gragas mains wondering if they should buy Gragas, Esq., just grab it next time it's in Your Shop. The skin aged surprisingly well and still feels premium years later. Worth every RP if you're planning to spam him in ranked.
