Finally grabbed Goth Annie after watching a streamer absolutely dominate with it for weeks, and after 55 games I can see why this skin gets so much love from Annie mains. The darker aesthetic isn't just for show, it actually makes her abilities feel more menacing and oddly enough, easier to track in chaotic teamfights.

The Q feels snappier with cleaner animation cancels that make last hitting with it buttery smooth. Her W cone is probably the biggest improvement since the purple flames have better visibility against most terrain compared to base Annie's orange fire. But the real game changer is how Tibbers looks when you drop him. During a baron fight yesterday, enemy team completely whiffed their positioning because they couldn't instantly tell if my ult was up through the darker particle effects on my passive stacks. That split second of confusion let me flash ult their fed ADC and we turned the whole game around. The bear himself feels more responsive too, like his autos connect faster when you're trying to secure kills.

Compared to other Annie skins like Hextech or Cafe Cuties, Goth Annie sits in this sweet spot where it's not too flashy but not boring either. Base Annie feels clunky after using this for a while, especially when you're trying to combo fast. Is Goth Annie worth it? For 975 RP it's honestly one of the better value picks in her collection. Not quite pay to win but those visual clarity improvements on her W and passive definitely give you tiny advantages that add up over time.

If you're an Annie main or even just play her occasionally, this skin makes the champion feel fresh without breaking the bank. Worth grabbing next time it's in your shop.
