After 90 games with God Fist Lee Sin, I'm convinced this skin actually changes how you play the champion. The Q feels way more responsive than base Lee Sin and even Muay Thai, which used to be my go to for clarity. Something about the golden energy trail makes landing those blind Qs through fog of war feel more consistent, though maybe that's just placebo kicking in.
The most noticeable difference is definitely the ult animation. Where Dragon Fist has that long windup that telegraphs everything, God Fist's kick comes out insanely fast with cleaner animation frames. I've caught so many people off guard in dragon fights because they're expecting that standard Lee timing. Last night I kicked their fed Jinx into our team before she could flash, and I swear it was because the animation is less clunky than what most players are used to seeing. The E tempest also spreads out with this golden wave that's easier to track in messy teamfights compared to other Lee Sin skins.
But here's where it gets controversial. At 1820 RP, you're paying premium for what feels like a slight competitive edge. The smoother cancel on ward hops alone has saved me from inting at least a dozen times. Compared to other Lee Sin skins like Storm Dragon or Nightbringer, this one sacrifices flashy effects for pure functionality. My experience with God Fist Lee Sin has been worth it as someone who plays him in ranked constantly, but casual Lee players should probably stick with cheaper options. The skin won't make you Insec overnight, but if you're already decent at him, those cleaner animations might be the diff between a good play and a highlight reel moment.
