Galactic Renekton

Never thought I'd drop money on a Renekton skin but after getting stomped by someone using Galactic Renekton three games straight, I had to see what the hype was about. Got it last week and I've probably played around 40 games with it since, mostly in ranked where every advantage counts.

The W animation feels way cleaner than base skin and even Prehistoric which I used before. You can actually tell when the stun window ends because of the purple energy effect, making trades feel more responsive. His Q sweep has this satisfying space whoosh that somehow makes last hitting easier, though maybe that's just placebo. But the real game changer is the ult transformation. During a baron fight yesterday, I could actually track myself in the chaos thanks to the glowing purple aura instead of getting lost like I do with Pool Party's water effects. Popped off and got a triple because I knew exactly where my hitbox was during the teamfight.

Compared to other Renekton skins this one sits in a weird spot. It's not as intimidating as Renektoy which tilts enemies just by existing, but the clarity is insane for actually playing well. The E dash has this distinct trail that helps with animation cancels, and I swear the auto attacks register faster even though they're probably the same frame data. Is Galactic Renekton worth it? For 520 RP it's actually good value if you're serious about climbing with the croc. Not quite pay to win but definitely pay to play cleaner. My experience with Galactic Renekton convinced me that sometimes the right skin actually does make you CS better and int less.
