Frosted Ezreal

Ezreal occasionally finds himself in the Freljord, searching for such-and-such ancient artifact. But braving sub-zero temperatures, terrifying ice beasts, and angry Freljordian tribes is a tall order, even for him—that's why he goes in disguise. He's practically a different person!

Picked up Frosted Ezreal from a mystery chest last week and honestly wasn't expecting much from this old 520 RP skin. After about 40 games though, I'm actually shocked at how clean it feels compared to base Ezreal.

The Q animation feels way more responsive than default, especially when you're trying to CS under tower pressure. His W has this icy trail that makes it easier to track in teamfights, which saved me during a messy dragon fight yesterday when I needed to proc my passive stacks on their fed Jinx. And the ult? The frosty explosion actually makes it clearer where the hitbox ends, something I never realized was an issue until I started using this skin. Had a game where I sniped their support recalling in fog because I could judge the distance better.

Compared to other Ezreal skins like Pulsefire or Battle Academia, Frosted keeps things simple but effective. No fancy recall animations or voice lines, just cleaner visuals that don't clutter your screen. The auto attack projectile is probably the best part since it's easier to track for last hitting. I think the simpler effects actually help in lane trades when you need to weave autos between abilities. It's definitely not pay to win, but the visual clarity is noticeable once you get used to it.

Is Frosted Ezreal worth it? For 520 RP, absolutely. My experience with Frosted Ezreal has been surprisingly positive for such an old skin. If you main Ezreal or just want something that feels smoother than base without breaking the bank, grab it next time it's in your shop.
