Frost Queen Janna

After maining Janna for three seasons with over 500k mastery points, I finally caved and bought Frost Queen during the recent sale. My friends kept asking if Frost Queen Janna was worth it since they know I'm super picky about which skins actually improve gameplay. Having spammed around 120 games with it now, I can honestly say this skin changed how I play certain matchups.

The Q feels way more responsive compared to Star Guardian, which I used religiously before. Something about the ice particles makes the tornado path clearer for both you and your ADC, especially during hectic dragon fights. Last week we were contesting soul and I managed to thread a max range Q through three enemies because the hitbox visibility is just that clean. Your W animation has this satisfying crystalline effect that somehow makes kiting feel smoother, though that's probably just mental. But the real game changer is the ult. The frozen ground effect is insanely clear compared to base Janna where sometimes enemies don't even realize they're still in the zone. I've gotten so many extra assists just because people can actually see where my ult ends.

Compared to other Janna skins like Sacred Sword, Frost Queen wins on clarity alone. It's not quite pay to win, but there's definitely a slight advantage in teamfights when your abilities are this readable. The 975 RP price tag might seem steep for an older skin, but considering how much cleaner the animations feel, it's actually worth every penny. For anyone who plays Janna regularly, this is the one skin that'll genuinely help you climb rather than just looking pretty in lane.
