Fright Night Nunu & Willump

Got this skin from a Hextech chest last week and honestly wasn't expecting much since I mainly play tankier junglers, but after 35 games with Fright Night Nunu & Willump, I'm actually impressed. The Halloween theme works way better than I thought it would, especially compared to other Nunu & Willump skins that feel too goofy or childish.

The Q bite animation feels cleaner than base skin, making it easier to time smite steals at dragon. Your W snowball has this orange pumpkin glow that's actually harder for enemies to track in river fights, which I've noticed tilts ADCs who can't dodge it properly. But the real difference is the ult channel, those swirling bats and purple effects make it harder for enemies to judge the exact edge of your ult radius. Had a game yesterday where their Yasuo flashed too late thinking he was safe, probably because the visual clarity throws people off. The E snowballs have this satisfying thunk sound when they hit that just feels more responsive than something like Papercraft Nunu.

Is Fright Night Nunu & Willump worth it? At 1350 RP it's not exactly budget friendly, but my experience with Fright Night Nunu & Willump shows it's more than just cosmetic. The recall animation where Willump eats candy is pretty cringe but good for BM after you get fed off successful ganks. Compared to other Nunu & Willump skins, this one strikes the best balance between looking cool and having slight visual advantages. If you're a Nunu main or play him regularly, I'd say grab it next time it's in Your Shop. Otherwise maybe wait for a sale unless you really dig the Halloween aesthetic.
