Been spamming this skin for about 80 games now after getting it from a mystery chest, and honestly it's become my go-to over Astronautilus. The Q hook feels way more responsive than base skin, probably because the anchor animation is cleaner without all those chain physics getting in the way. When you're trying to hit that crucial hook through minions during a dragon fight, you can actually tell where the hitbox ends instead of guessing with the wobbly chain.
The W shield is where this skin really shines though. That purple glow is so much easier to track in teamfights compared to other Nautilus skins, especially Worldbreaker where everything blends into orange chaos. Last night I was peeling for my ADC against a fed Zed and could perfectly time my shield pops because the visual is that clear. And the E slow zones? They're slightly darker which makes it easier to see if enemies are still inside the radius when you're kiting back.
My experience with Fright Night Nautilus compared to other Nautilus skins is that it's purely cosmetic but somehow feels better. The ult projectile travels the same speed obviously, but the ghost animation makes it easier to track who you've targeted in messy 5v5s. Worth the 1350 RP if you main the champion, though I wouldn't have bought it myself if I hadn't gotten lucky with the chest. The recall animation where he summons those spirits is pretty sick too, gives you something to spam while your ADC is inting under tower. If you're deciding between this and Shan Hai Scrolls, I'd say Fright Night wins for clarity but Shan Hai looks cooler overall.
