Fright Night Draven

Picked up Fright Night Draven from a chest last week and honestly wasn't expecting much since I'm more of a Gladiator Draven guy. After about 35 games though, this skin's grown on me in ways I didn't see coming. The axe catching feels cleaner than most of his other skins, especially compared to base Draven where sometimes the axes blend into terrain during teamfights.

The Q axes have this purple glow that makes them super easy to track in messy situations. Last night during a dragon fight, my support Thresh hooked their ADC while I had three axes spinning, and I could perfectly see each landing spot even with all the spell effects going off. That visibility probably saved the fight since I kept my damage up instead of dropping axes like I sometimes do on Pool Party. His W speed boost has this subtle bat effect that's actually helpful for knowing when it's about to expire, and the ult feels more responsive when you're trying to snipe someone recalling under tower.

Compared to other Draven skins like Primetime or Soul Reaver, Fright Night sits in this weird spot where it's not his flashiest but might be his most practical. The animations feel less clunky than older skins, and while it's not exactly pay-to-win, the axe clarity gives you a slight edge in chaotic fights. Is Fright Night Draven worth it if you're buying with RP? Maybe not at 1350 when Gladiator exists, but if you get it from a chest or it goes on sale, it's definitely worth using. My experience with Fright Night Draven turned out way better than expected, and it's become my go-to for ranked games when I need every advantage I can get.
