After 90 games with FPX Thresh, I can confidently say this skin hits different than what most people expect from a Worlds skin. The red and black aesthetic absolutely pops in game, and while everyone talks about how clean Spirit Blossom looks, FPX brings something more aggressive to the table that just feels right when you're making plays.
The Q windup feels noticeably smoother compared to base Thresh, almost like there's less delay before the hook flies out. His E flay has this satisfying metallic sound that makes timing it easier, especially when you're trying to interrupt dashes. But what really sold me was during a baron fight last week where my team was getting zoned hard. The ult walls are way more visible than Dark Star's, which I'd been using forever, and my ADC actually noticed them in the chaos and played around them properly. We turned that fight and won off baron, probably because the Box was just that much clearer for everyone to see.
Is FPX Thresh worth it compared to other Thresh skins? For 1350 RP, you're getting solid value here. The animations aren't quite as flashy as High Noon's gun spinning, but they're cleaner where it matters. This isn't pay to win by any means, but the hitbox clarity on Q definitely feels more responsive than skins like Championship where the particle effects can feel a bit cluttered. And honestly, the backing animation where he sits on the throne just makes you feel like a boss after landing a sick hook.
If you're a Thresh main looking for something that performs well without being too distracting, this is it. The skin aged incredibly well since 2019 and still holds up against newer releases.
