Forsaken Jayce caught me completely off guard when I pulled it from a hextech chest last month. After 55 games with it, I'm honestly shocked how much this skin changes the entire feel of playing Jayce compared to his base model.

The Q in cannon form feels way smoother to aim somehow, and the acceleration gate has this purple glow that makes it easier to see in messy teamfights. But what really sold me was the hammer form E knockback animation being cleaner than Battle Academia's. During a baron fight yesterday, I managed to knock their fed Katarina into my team perfectly because the animation timing just felt more responsive. The transformation between forms has this corrupted void effect that's actually helpful for tracking your stance timer. And his W in cannon form shoots these dark projectiles that are easier to count compared to other Jayce skins I've tried on friends' accounts.

Is Forsaken Jayce worth it though? At 1350 RP it's not exactly budget friendly, but after my experience with Forsaken Jayce I'd say it's more than just cosmetic. The visual clarity on abilities genuinely helps in lane trades when you're trying to CS while poking. Debonair Jayce might look classier but Forsaken just plays better. The recall animation where he gets consumed by void energy is probably the coolest part visually, even if that doesn't affect gameplay.

For anyone who actually plays Jayce regularly, this skin makes the champ feel less clunky overall. Should you buy Forsaken Jayce if you main him? Absolutely worth grabbing if you see it in Your Shop with a discount.
