Fnatic Jarvan IV

Got the Fnatic Jarvan IV from a mystery chest last week and honestly wasn't expecting much from this 750 RP skin. After about 40 games though, I'm actually surprised how clean it feels compared to base Jarvan. The orange and black color scheme might look basic in screenshots but it's way easier to track in teamfights than I thought it would be.

The Q feels snappier somehow, like the flag toss has a cleaner animation that makes it easier to time your E+Q combos. Your ult circle is super clear with that orange outline which helped me land a nasty 3-man ult at dragon yesterday that probably would've whiffed on base skin. And the E flag itself stands out better against terrain, especially in river fights where everything gets messy. Compared to Warring Kingdoms which I used to main, this one's way less flashy but the visibility is insane for tracking your combos.

Is Fnatic Jarvan IV worth it? For a World Champions 2011 skin, it's aged pretty well. The model's nothing special but the clearer hitbox indicators on Q and ult make it borderline pay-to-win in cluttered fights. I've been hitting more max range E+Q engages since swapping, and maybe that's placebo but the flag feels less clunky to place accurately. My experience with Fnatic Jarvan IV has been way better than expected for such an old skin.

If you're a Jarvan main who values clarity over aesthetics, this skin's actually worth considering. But if you want something that'll make you pop off visually, grab Dark Star or Hextech instead. This one's purely functional, and sometimes that's exactly what you need to diff the enemy jungler.
