Firecracker Teemo

Collected the Firecracker Teemo skin from a chest last month and honestly wasn't expecting much since I mainly play Omega Squad. After about 35 games though, this skin completely changed my mind about what a 1350 RP Teemo skin can deliver.

The Q feels way more responsive than base Teemo, with that satisfying firecracker pop sound that makes blinding fed ADCs even more tilting for them. But it's the shrooms that really make this skin worth it. The firework explosion animation is cleaner than most other skins, and I've noticed enemies actually react slower to them, probably because the visual doesn't scream "danger" like Omega Squad's mines do. During a baron fight yesterday, their jungler walked straight into three shrooms I'd placed in river bush because the red lantern design blends perfectly with the terrain. The recall animation where Teemo rides the rocket is insane too, though you'll rarely get to finish it without getting dove.

Compared to other Teemo skins, Firecracker sits in this weird spot where it's actually better for gameplay than more expensive options. Omega Squad has better voice lines sure, but Firecracker's auto attacks feel smoother and the poison dart trail is less clunky when kiting. The skin definitely gives you a slight advantage in teamfights since the abilities blend into the chaos better than something like Little Devil which practically screams "focus me" with those bright purple effects.

Is Firecracker Teemo worth it? For anyone who plays Teemo regularly, absolutely. It's not quite pay to win, but the visual clarity on your end combined with slightly harder to read effects for enemies makes it my go to ranked skin now. And watching enemies int into festive shrooms never gets old.
