Fiddle Me Timbers

Picked up Fiddle Me Timbers from a mystery chest last week and honestly wasn't expecting much from this pirate themed skin. After about 40 games though, I'm actually pretty impressed with how it changes the feel of playing our favorite scarecrow. The whole nautical vibe works surprisingly well with his kit, and there's something satisfying about jumping out with a pirate hat instead of the usual tattered rags.

The Q fear gets this awesome ship bell sound that's way clearer than base Fiddlesticks, making it easier to track when someone's about to run around like a headless chicken. His W drain tether looks like ghostly chains which feels more responsive somehow, probably because the animation is cleaner than the default green beam. But the real winner is his ult where you literally become this spectral pirate ship crashing into enemies. Had a dragon fight yesterday where I ulted over the wall and the enemy team straight up didn't realize it was Fiddle at first, giving me that extra half second to absolutely pop off before they started running.

Compared to other Fiddlesticks skins like Surprise Party, this one's purely cosmetic with no real pay to win advantage, but the audio cues are definitely crisper. The recall animation where he plays a sea shanty on his fiddle is actually hilarious and worth the 750 RP alone if you're into that kind of thing. My experience with Fiddle Me Timbers has been way better than expected for what I thought would be a throwaway skin. If you're a Fiddle main looking for something different without breaking the bank, this skin's definitely worth considering, especially if you can snag it on sale.
