Emumu

Been maining Amumu for three seasons now with 500k+ mastery points, and after using Emumu for around 120 games, I can honestly say this skin hits different than what most people expect. The emo aesthetic isn't just visual fluff either. Your Q bandage toss feels snappier with the darker particles making it easier to track in teamfights, and the W despair pool has this purple haze that's actually less distracting than base skin's tears. But what really sells it is how the ult animation feels more responsive with that instant black burst instead of the gradual mummy wrap effect.

Last night I was getting dove under tower by a fed Kayn and their jungler. Popped ult with Emumu and the clearer hitbox visualization let me perfectly catch both of them at max range, something I've whiffed before on base skin where the golden rings can blend with certain terrain. The E tantrum also has this satisfying thud that makes last hitting feel better, though that might just be psychological. Compared to other Amumu skins like Surprise Party, Emumu trades flashiness for clarity which actually matters when you're trying to land those game winning ults.

Is Emumu worth it compared to other Amumu skins? For 520 RP, absolutely. It's not pay to win but the visual clarity improvements are real, especially if you play on lower settings. My experience with Emumu convinced two of my duo partners to grab it after seeing how clean the animations look. Sure, it doesn't have the personality of Pumpkin Prince or the particles of Infernal, but for tryharding in ranked, this is probably my go to skin now. Should you buy Emumu if you're serious about climbing with the sad mummy? Without question.
