Bought the Empyrean Nocturne skin after seeing a streamer absolutely dominate with it, and after 50 games I can tell you it's probably the smoothest Nocturne experience you'll get. The Q trail feels way more responsive than base skin, especially when you're trying to land those max range hits for the movement speed boost. Your ult has this insane cosmic vibe that actually makes enemies panic more, though that might just be psychological.

The W spell shield is where this skin really shines compared to other Nocturne skins. Unlike Eternum where the shield feels clunky, Empyrean's version has cleaner animation frames that make timing it against crucial abilities way easier. I've been blocking more Lux ults and Thresh hooks just because I can see the activation window better. During a baron fight yesterday, I managed to block three different abilities in succession and the visual clarity helped me track cooldowns while staying focused on the ADC.

The E tether looks thinner than Frozen Terror's chunky ice chain, which makes it less obvious when you're chasing someone through river bushes.
