Empyrean Jhin

Been playing nothing but Empyrean Jhin for about 80 games now after getting it from a chest, and honestly this skin completely changed how I approach teamfights. The Q bounces feel way smoother compared to Dark Cosmic, especially when you're trying to last hit that cannon minion while poking the enemy ADC. But what really sold me was how the W animation feels more responsive when you need to catch someone rotating through river.

The ult is where this skin really shines though. Had a dragon fight yesterday where their jungler was trying to steal, and I could actually see my shots clearer through all the ability spam happening in the pit. With base Jhin or even High Noon, I sometimes lose track of my bullets in chaotic fights, but Empyrean's purple effects cut through everything. The fourth shot especially has this satisfying pop that makes you feel like you're about to delete someone. And the passive movement speed burst after a kill feels insanely smooth, probably because the animation transitions are less clunky than older skins.

Is Empyrean Jhin worth it compared to other Jhin skins? If you already own Dark Cosmic, maybe not since they're both in that cosmic aesthetic. But my experience with Empyrean Jhin has been that it's purely cosmetic advantage, not pay to win or anything. The recall animation where he floats up is pretty cringe but good, takes forever though so careful about backing in lane. For anyone who mains Jhin or plays him regularly, I'd say grab it when it goes on sale. The clarity alone makes it worth over skins like Blood Moon where everything blends together.
